Jumbo Hostel is the first hotel-plane in the world and is built in an old Boeing 747. Unique idea belongs to Oscar Dios, a Swedish businessman, aged 36 years.The hotel has 25 rooms furnished with metal beds and above are fitted compartments for luggage. The room is equipped with flat-screen televisions on which tourists can watch entertainment programs and information on flights.
Hotel may benefit from a reception desk, a coffee shop, shower cabins and bathrooms. The upper deck of the Boeing has been transformed into conference room.
"Already we have 200 reservations. The interior of the plane looks very good and was arranged in the style of the 70's. All employees will wear classic uniforms of the crew members. The Boeing was built in 1976 and remained parked on the Arlanda Airport in Stockholm since 2002.
